PROBLEM
Decision Systems was undergoing an acquisition and needed a website redesign that reflected its evolving positioning and expanded capabilities. Working alongside a copywriter and web developer, the new site introduced a significantly larger volume of content, requiring a thoughtful approach to structure and hierarchy. The focus of this project was to translate dense, text-heavy messaging into a clear, intuitive design, organizing information in a way that felt digestible, engaging, and easy to navigate while maintaining a strong, professional visual presence.
PROCESS
Given the tight timeline, I worked closely with the developer to organize a large volume of content without overwhelming the design. While staying aligned with the original brand guidelines, we expanded on select visual elements to improve hierarchy, flexibility, and overall user experience without losing brand consistency.
To support efficiency and consistency, I used AI tools like ChatGPT to source and refine Font Awesome icons and generate meta descriptions for each page, maintaining a clear, cohesive voice while improving readability and SEO.
SOLUTION
The final website transformed a large volume of complex, text-heavy content into a clear, structured experience. Through improved hierarchy and thoughtful design, the information became easier to navigate and significantly more usable, allowing users to quickly understand key services with less friction. It also clarified the company’s product offerings and communicated key details around the acquisition and expanded capabilities. Overall, the redesign created a more intuitive and engaging experience, and the client was very pleased with how the messaging was simplified and aligned with their evolving brand and positioning.
