Surveys On The Go® is a mobile app that rewards users with cash for completing short surveys, participating in research studies, and reviewing products. Most surveys pay between $1–$5, and users can cash out once they reach the $10 minimum payout.

PROBLEM
Surveys On The Go® needed Google UGC-style ads that could stand out in competitive digital placements and motivate new users to download the app. Previous ads did not clearly communicate the main incentive, earning real cash for sharing opinions, and lacked relatable visuals that showed how the app fits naturally into everyday life.
PROCESS
I focused on highlighting the most compelling value proposition: getting paid cash for completing short surveys. I developed ad concepts that featured authentic, lifestyle-focused imagery of real panelists going about everyday activities such as shopping, commuting, or relaxing at home to reinforce the idea that surveys can be completed anytime, anywhere. I paired this imagery with concise messaging and subtle animations to draw attention, emphasize key benefits, and create movement that would capture viewers’ attention while scrolling.
SOLUTION
The final Google ads combined clear messaging around cash rewards, relatable imagery of real users, and simple animation to create more engaging, easy-to-understand ads. By visually showing how the app fits into everyday moments and emphasizing the opportunity to earn money, the ads resonated more strongly with potential users. The result was improved engagement and higher conversion rates for app downloads.
Google AD size variations

I created a range of animated Google UGC ad variations using Adobe Photoshop CC. Including animated options is important because motion helps capture attention in crowded digital spaces, communicate key messages more quickly, and increase engagement and click-through rates compared to static ads.

I also created a variety of ads tailored to different subreddits on Reddit, testing a range of imagery and messaging to determine which combinations resonated most effectively with each audience.
Animated ads were also developed to test which variations performed best.
