Known for its energetic, social travel experiences, the company offers more than 350 itineraries across six continents, providing hassle-free trips that include transportation, accommodations, and curated activities that help young travelers explore destinations and connect with others along the way.

Contiki needed display ads that could capture the attention of a younger audience (ages 18–35) in crowded digital spaces. Standard static ads were easy to overlook, and the challenge was to create visually compelling ads that would stand out while still maintaining the brand’s visual identity and communicating the excitement of travel.

I explored ways to make the ads more dynamic and engaging for a digitally native audience. This included experimenting with bold color treatments, energetic layouts, and subtle animations that would draw the viewer’s eye without overwhelming the message. I also ensured all creative concepts aligned with the brand’s existing visual guidelines, balancing vibrant visuals with consistent typography, imagery, and messaging. Multiple ad sizes and variations were designed to ensure consistency and effectiveness across display placements.

The final display ads used vibrant brand colors, eye-catching motion, and clear visual hierarchy to quickly communicate the travel experience and capture attention as users scrolled. Animation added a sense of energy and movement that resonated with the target demographic while remaining aligned with the brand. The result was a cohesive set of visually engaging ads designed to stand out in digital environments and encourage users to explore travel opportunities.

MFour Data Research (formerly MFour Mobile Research) is a consumer insights technology company that delivers validated, real-time behavioral and survey data. Through its 4.5-star-rated Surveys On The Go® app, the company combines consumer-permissioned “Fair Trade” data, including web, app, and location activity, with survey responses to provide a deeper understanding of consumer behavior and the full customer journey.

MFour needed digital display ads that could effectively communicate the value of its consumer insights platform to potential clients. Because the product involves complex data collection and analytics, the challenge was to simplify the messaging and create visually engaging ads that could quickly capture attention in crowded digital environments while clearly conveying the benefits of real-time consumer data.

I worked with the marketing team to identify the key value propositions we wanted to highlight such as real-time insights, verified consumer data, and visibility into the customer journey. From there, I explored design approaches that simplified complex ideas through clear messaging, strong visual hierarchy, and concise supporting graphics. I developed multiple ad concepts and sizes, ensuring they remained consistent with MFour’s brand guidelines while optimizing layouts for different digital placements.

The final display ads translated MFour’s complex data offerings into clear, visually compelling messages that could be quickly understood at a glance. By combining strong typography, clean layouts, and strategic visual elements, the ads helped communicate the platform’s value while maintaining brand consistency. The resulting campaign provided scalable digital assets that supported online marketing efforts and increased awareness of MFour’s consumer insights solutions.
